I love the reflection that different lights, lamps and candles can offer in a room. These lamps are in an Indian restaurant in Berlin. Restaurants can often offer new interior design ideas as the rooms need to entice, retain diners and at the same time be functional. Going to a lovely Japanese restaurant and promise to bore you with a photo or two!
I am always inspired by flea markets, brocantes, flohmarkts - in all shapes and sizes. It is like hunting for treasure - you may find something, you may not. Two silver salt shells were waiting for me and being of the sea, I instantly fell in love.
It has been an amazing summer and as the muted tones of brown and black appear in shop windows, I resist the quiet call of autumn knowing winter's breath is around the corner.
