We have accepted an offer on the apartment and there are a mixture of emotions; elation, relief and sadness at the same time. We renovated this apartment giving it a new life by restoring the elegance that it once had. We have made some of the best French friends who have become a family and they too have said that whilst they are happy for us, they are sad for the future goodbye. We move forward to a new adventure and close some doors more gently than others.
