“June is the gateway to summer” said Jean Hersey. We are finally here in to blue sky days with the sea almost at swimming temperature. Sweet melons are appearing and everything feels lighter and brighter. Even the shops are decorated in lemons, cherries and sunshiny colours. It feels as if at least here, everyone seems sunnier and happier.
